Chasing Light And Texture
Lately, I’ve been really chasing plant scenes where I can display light and texture. It started off with my trying to practice some HDR and not really being able to find the subjects I wanted. We’ve had so much smoke all summer from the wildfires that the golden hour light hasn’t really been that golden. The smoke defuses the light so that subjects are more uniformly lit. Being really into plants, this year has been tough as well as the drought conditions have made it a real struggle for a lot of my subjects.
